- With Daniel Jackson and Dr. Lee kidnap victims in Central America, the State Department receives a ransom demand. They are being held by a small band of revolutionaries who regularly seek ransom to pay for their arms purchases. O'Neill heads off to rescue them and is joined by a former colleague, Burke, who holds something of a grudge against him. As for the captives, they are tortured until they finally explain the purpose of the artifact. Meanwhile, Sam, Teal'c, Jacob and Bra'tac head off to the super soldiers' home world.
