Salli Richardson-Whitfield does not repeat her role as Teal'c's wife. The role was taken over by Brook Susan Parker.
SG-1 often uses Zat guns in preference to their normal weapons, but there is no clear reason why; in only one case is it in order to disintegrate a corpse, but the other instances may have simply been because the Zats might be quieter than their normal weapons.
When Bra'tac first comes through the gate O'Neill meets him with "Greetings from Earth". Bra'tac grasps O'Neill's arm in salute and grunts "hmm...Hasshak", which passes O'Neill without notice. "Hasshak" translates as "weakling", "fodder", "fool". At this time Bra'tac still doesn't hold the Colonel in the highest esteem, although his respect grows as the series progresses.
