- In a firefight with Jaffa, Teal'c takes a staff blast to the gut. Without his symbiote, he cannot regenerate as he once did. Daniel feels that he cannot remember something important, so he goes searching through the logs for any sign of his lost knowledge. - Returning from an off-world mission, Teal'c is seriously wounded. He's put on tritonin, which keeps alive, but without a symbiote his recovery period will be considerably longer than he is used to. Dr. Fraiser eventually clears him for duty, but Teal'c feels that the tritonin has adversely affected him. Daniel, meanwhile, has a nagging thought, something in his memory that he can't quite put his finger on. He searches the gate logs hoping something will trigger his memory. He finally realizes that Rya'c and Master Bra'tac have been taken prisoner and are working as slaves mining naquadria for the Goa'uld System Lord Ba'al. SG-1 and SG-3 mount a rescue mission.—garykmcd
- While fleeing from a group of Jaffa, the SG-1 crosses the Stargate, but Teal'c is shot by a Jaffa. He has a long and painful recovery with Tritonin and feels weak when Dr. Janet Fraiser discharges him to perform his duties. Meanwhile, Danel has the sensation that he forgot something important and becomes obsessed with recalling it. He also hears voices and asks Teal'c to teach him to meditate. Out of the blue, Daniel learns that Rya'c and Bra'tac have been captured by Ba'al's Jaffa and are working as slaves on the planet Erebus. - SG-1 gets back from a temple planet by a whisker, well Teal'c blames himself, despite being the one so badly wounded his symbipte couldn't save his life without the tritonin. Daniel also has a bad feeling and works out they share dreams of Rya'c and master Bra'tac on a torturous mining planet, under Ba'al's control. By the time it's identified as Erebus with Rak'nor's help and they can check it out, Bra'tac is an inch from being executed as unable to toil once their tritonin supply has run out. Jack must hold back while Teal'c and Rak'nor go in and get captured and tortured, till Daniel and Sam can arrange the perfect more then diversion, sabotaging the Ga'uld space-ship.—KGF Vissers
