- SG-1 is providing security for three scientists who are conducting research on a far-off planet. Goa'uld warlord Khonsu arranges to capture the SG-1 team and O'Neill tells Jay Felger, nominally the group's leader, to use the gate and head back to SGC. Felger is quite enamored with SG-1, admiring their exploits and daring-do. Rather than follow O'Neill's orders, Felger and another scientist, Simon Coombs, transport themselves up to the Goa'uld ship. What the scientists don't know is that SG-1's capture is a ruse to allow Khonsu, who is actually a Tok'ra, to pass on information. O'Neill is quite annoyed with the two scientists but their presence proves useful in the end.—garykmcd
- While protecting three scientists on a remote planet, the SG-1 is captured by the Goa'uld Her'ak to be brought to Lord Khonsu. The scientist Jay Felger that worships O'Neill decides to follow the SG-1 with his partner Simon Coombs using transport rings to the Goa'uld Ship instead of following O'Neill's order to return to the SGC. When they meet the SG-1, O'Neill explains that they are on a mission to meet Khonsu, who is a Tok'ra, and receive information. What will happen to the SG-1 and the two clumsy scientists?—Claudio Carvalho, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
- Mathematics professor Jay Felger, who examines the stargate on a derelict planet with two fellow scientists, is delighted his heroes, SG-1, provide their security. Suddenly, a Goa'uld war glider arrives, Jaffa attack and capture SG-1. Felger defies Jack's instructions to hide and flee back to earth, dragging along scared scientist Simon Coombs while the third informs General Hammond, who rules a rescue in't possible. The duo sneak through the mothership to rescue SG-1 from the dungeon of Lord Khonsu, only to be scolded by Jack for compromising a secret operation, as Khonsu is in fact a Tok'ra undercover who can't pass on crucial information any other way. Alas, prime Jaffa Her'ak got wind of this and kills Khonsu, awaiting Anubis to take over. Thanks to Khonsu's loyal Jaffa, the duo wasn't found and can organize a real rescue.—KGF Vissers
- Told from the point of view of a stereo-typical scientist, Jay Felger (in love with SG-1). While on a standard science "baby-sitting" mission, SG-1 is captured by Khonsu (who is secretly Tok'ra) in order to relay information about Anubis. Felger and fellow scientist, Simon Coombs disobey O'Neill's order to return to SGC and sneak onto Khonsu's ship. Khonsu's head Jaffa, Her'ak turns on Khonsu and kills him, keeping SG-1 to turn over to Anubis in the process. Felger and Coombs manage to help SG-1 escape and return to the SGC.—Anonymous
