- McKay finds an Ancient warship adrift in space. Sheppard finds out they are carrying a communique that mentions a weakness in Wraith technology.
- McKay finds a system that tracked the location of all Ancient ships. The monitor indicates there's still one left, the warship Aurora. The Daedalus is sent to investigate, and shoots down a Wraith scout ship nearby. The Aurora looks heavily damaged and there's no life support. The entire crew has been in stasis pods for 10,000 years, too long to revive them. McKay discovers they are all connected in a virtual reality network. Sheppard joins them and finds out the ship is carrying an important communique that mentions a weakness in Wraith technology. He tries to retrieve it from their captain, but access to him is constantly denied by a woman. While two Wraith cruisers approach the Daedalus, Teyla and Ronon find a Wraith that entered the network in one of the pods.—Arnoud Tiele (imdb@tiele.nl)
- ZPM-powering Atlantis's sensors allows McKay to detect an Ancient warship, Aurora. Sheppard's team board the Daedalus to investigate it, on the way eliminating a Wraith ship also heading there. It('s badly damaged in a lost space battle, but numerous hibernation pods aboard contain live Ancients, alas to badly decayed over a hundred centuries to revive. Yet McKay discovers they remain mentally aware and somehow communicate between pods. Sheppard enters one in order to ask for Ancient know-how to fight the Wraiths, but finds them unaware of being in a virtual world as if the Ancient war for Atlantis wasn't lost yet. So he's locked up as a puzzling liar, requiring McKay to manipulate the controls, hastily as Wraith war ships approach fast, so Caldwell wants to destroy the Auroara rather then have them seize it. Worse, McKay finds a Wraith in a pod manipulating the whole virtual Aurora as a trap to obtain the Ancient secrets.—KGF Vissers
- With Atlantis now powered by a ZPM, long range sensors detect the presence of an Atlantean ship, the Aurora, at the far edge of the Pegasus galaxy. While the ship at first appears to be abandoned, they find most of the crew alive, but in stasis and too weak to be awakened. McKay determines that the Atlanteans are all linked in a neural network and Sheppard enters one of the stasis pods, hoping to make contact. What he finds is that the Atlanteans are all living in an alternate reality unaware of the fact they are in stasis. Sheppard is seen as a spy and an intruder and is in the brig. What none of them is yet aware is that there is also a Wraith among them.—garykmcd
- When the team finds an Ancient warship adrift on the edge of the galaxy, its crew still alive, Colonel Sheppard enters their virtual reality stasis to communicate with them.
