The postman always runs twice
searchanddestroy-127 May 2016
Amusing episode which takes place in Cuba where a petty postman intends to run for the Olympics to represent his country. It would certainly have never been made a couple of years later, or let's say after 1960. You know why, of course...So, it's somewhere a gem. The adventures of the poor and so kind Felix are a pretty agreeable. Amusing comedy story that may seem naive but entertaining enough to spend thirty minutes. I would have imagined Arthur Hiller as the director, or Charlie Chaplin playing the lead character. Good stuff. Perfect time waster for the whole family. I don't know if this story is inspired by actual events but it's plenty good. Bittersweet in the mouth for the end.
