This is not a bad episode. Jake Voight has been injured in Iraq and returns to face a risky procedure. Suddenly he seizes an MP's gun and is shot dead while attempting to escape ... a hospital.
When Tru hears the dead body ask "Save me," she is sent back to relive the day. This time she assists the soldier to escape and together they track down an old girlfriend. Complications arrive when we discover the father wrote a nasty letter as the soldier was being shipped out. Apparently daddy's little girl had a bright future in law ahead of her.
Years later there is a child and a reunion filled with tears and forgiveness.
Not everyone survives these interventions. In this case Tru discovers it is the not the soldier who need salvation but someone els. This is an improvement on the past couple of weeks and hopefully the script writers can keep up with the standard of work.
