  • Alice refers to Geraldine having 'breasts the size of St Paul's Cathedral'.
  • Alice and Geraldine discuss who they would like to get with if they were gay. When Geraldine says that it's time for them to go to bed, Alice initially thinks she means together.
  • Rachel Hunter uses the vicarage to change her clothes. Shortly after, Alice arrives, and when Hunter comes down the stairs in her skimpy underwear, Alice gets the wrong idea as Geraldine mentioned Hunter in their discussion of potential lesbian partners the previous night, leading to the whole village believing that Geraldine is gay.
  • Jim writes a Christmas carol with a highly graphic description of the actual birth of Jesus.
  • Owen says that Geraldine's alleged homosexuality is 'the best news since they made sex with animals legal again'. Hugo tells him that it hasn't been made legal, to which he says that that's not good news.
  • Geraldine tells Rachel Hunter that she likes the underwear that she models, saying that she bought some but it didn't fit and so she uses it to floss her teeth instead.
  • Geraldine makes comments about Johnny Wilkinson's thighs.
  • Geraldine says that her chance of becoming a bishop is about as likely as Jordan winning 'Miss Tiny Tits'.
  • Geraldine says that Alice and Hugo have 'been busy' on seeing that they now have 10 children.
  • Alice accidentally puts her hands on Geraldine's breasts.
  • Owen suggests hiring a stripper for Geraldine's anniversary party.
  • Geraldine mentions a woman's breast enhancement in front of her entire congregation.
  • Jim recalls having sex with Geraldine on a billiard table and her performing a pole dance with Mother Theresa, only for her to tell him that he dreamt both events.
  • When making the Sign of the Cross before Midnight Mass, Geraldine says 'Milk, milk, lemonade', referring to bodily fluids from the respective areas indicated.
  • On hearing that Geraldine isn't gay after all, Owen tries to make a move on her, saying that he'll brush his teeth this time.
  • Geraldine tells Alice a joke about crossing a turkey with an octopus, which Alice overthinks as usual and ends up wondering whether they would actually be able to mate.
  • Geraldine tells Owen to 'get a grip', before adding 'Not on that'.
  • On mistakenly concluding that Geraldine is intending to conduct homosexual activity with Rachel Hunter, Alice says 'You can never quite get to the bottom of Geraldine Granger. But I bet Rachel's going to try!'
  • When Geraldine says that the Women's Institute want to do a charity calendar, the Council members ask whether the women will be topless.

Violence & Gore

  • Geraldine mocks David's baldness during Midnight Mass.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Geraldine gets drunk on Christmas Eve, forgetting that she is supposed to be saying Midnight Mass. Alice attempts to save the day by telling the congregation beforehand that in order to raise awareness of the effects of binge drinking, Geraldine is going to conduct the service as if she is drunk, hoping they won't realise that she really is. Unfortunately, they do.
  • The characters drink champagne when celebrating the vicar's anniversary.
  • The characters drink wine on Christmas Day. There is very little left, due to Geraldine drinking most of it the night before.
