When David decides to join the protest, Alice is chained to Geraldine's left, but in the next scene David is chained there.
Dibley is campaigning to save the town from being replaced by a reservoir. A shot of the church shows a banner which says, "Save St Barnabus from the Flood." At least the Vicar should have noticed that the name of the saint, and therefore also the church, is spelt "Barnabas".

After Mr Babcock demonstrates the plans for the reservoir, there is no further depiction for the rest of the episode of the problems caused by the drought. In particular, after Jim takes over the protest from Geraldine, she is shown having just had a bath or shower when previously it was established that none of the villagers had been able to due to the water shortage.
Geraldine mentions the Belgian Congo as a location she could be moved to if the reservoir goes ahead. It's actually been called the Democratic Republic of the Congo since 1997, and before that it was Zaire.
Alice says she doesn't drink alcohol, but she had a glass of sherry in the first episode when the parishioners greeted Geraldine.
