Rory Calhoun Joanna Moore - need I say more!
deswind-150627 April 2022
Any time these two are in a western, it is a must watch. Great actors. I have seen this one several times and thought I would skip seeing it today when it was aired again. But I started watching it again, and it still was entertaining. A great story about redemption.

Enjoy this one!

Spins yarns about his father
bkoganbing2 January 2020
Young Kurt Russell spins many tales about his father whom he does not know has spent the last six years in prison. His mother never told him before she died and one day happens to run into Trampas and tries to pass him off as his dad to schoolteacher Joanna Moore as well as the other kids at the Medicine Bow Orphanage.

As it turns out Russell's dad Rory Calhoun has just got out of prison and wants to look up his son. But a couple of old outlaw buddies, Bing Russell and Harry Lauter think Russell has a big stash of loot hidden away and they want it.

Some nice scenes with Kurt Russell and Doug McClure characterize this episode. Calhoun gives a nice performance of a man wanting to go straight if people will let him.
