- Arthur Carlson: I'm having second thoughts about this whole reunion thing.
- Jennifer Marlowe: Oh, Mr. Carlson, you're acting silly again.
- Arthur Carlson: Oh, I'm sorry, I was going to try and stop that.
- Andy Travis: [looking at a photo in Mr. Carlson's college yearbook] Hey, is this you standing next to the chubby kid?
- [Mr. Carlson grimaces back at Andy]
- Herb Tarlek: [Andy is mad at Les about his inane on-air commentary, so Herb resorts to reverse psychology] Andy heard your commentary this morning.
- Les Nessman: [angrily] I'm not going to apologize.
- Herb Tarlek: [excitedly] Apologize? Hah! He thought you were brilliant. He was dumbfounded by your professionalism.
- Les Nessman: Thank you, Andy.
- Herb Tarlek: [under his breath as Herb and Andy walk away] You jerk.
- Andy Travis: [aside to Herb about the failure of Herb's reverse psychology on Les] Don't worry about it. So it didn't work. You are still the best salesman this town has ever seen.
- Herb Tarlek: [suspiciously] What do you mean by that?
- Andy Travis: I am dumbfounded by your professionalism.
- Les Nessman: [red-nosed] So with all this talk about Asian flu, I started wondering why we don't have an American flu. Who's behind this?
- Bailey Quarters: [bored] Interesting. Jennifer...?
- Les Nessman: Oh, there's more. Much more.
- Bailey Quarters: [sighs] Is Andy in?
- Jennifer Marlowe: Haven't seen him.
- Bailey Quarters: Well, I am gonna get an answer out of him today. Bailey Quarters will not be pushed around.
- Les Nessman: [droning on] My early bird commentary will examine illnesses...
- Andy Travis: [emtering] Good morning, everybody!
- Bailey Quarters: [as he passes] Andy! Can I get a computer for billing or not?
- Les Nessman: Andy, I'd like to share my thoughts on sickness with you.
- Andy Travis: Wait a minute, guys, I didn't take my hat off yet.
- Bailey Quarters: Everybody has computers, Andy. They're, they're more common than the common cold.
- [behind her, Les starts to sniffle ominously]
- Bailey Quarters: We need them to handle invoices. Now, you have been putting me off for days, I want an answer.
- Andy Travis: Okay. No.
- Bailey Quarters: Well, that's more like it then! What?
- Andy Travis: I'm kidding! I'll talk to Carlson as soon as he comes in, all right?
- Bailey Quarters: Okay.
- Andy Travis: Okay.
- Les Nessman: [rambling on] My commentary this morning will tackle germs!
