Lee Remick was starring in the Broadway drama 'Wait Until Dark' at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre. The production would run for 373 performances, transfer to three other theaters and finally close on December 31, 1966. The play was successfully adapted into 'Wait Until Dark (1967)'.
Larry Blyden had replaced Eli Wallach in the already running Broadway comedy 'Luv', starting on February 28th until June 25, 1966, when Robert Darnell took over the role for the production's last six months.
This was Larry Blyden's first of five appearances as a panelist. Six years later, in 1972, Blyden would take over hosting duties for this show's 1968 syndicated revival edition, remaining in that post until it was canceled in 1975.
