In this episode, Joe becomes the soundboard for all the characters' problems: Helen's relationship woes with Davis; Fay's cemetery troubles; Brian and Alex's relationship problems; Roy's continued need to demean Sandpiper Air; one passenger's lost baggage; a high school kid needing an interview; and Lowell's fascination with a Harley Davidson. All of this becomes too much for Joe to handle and he freaks out and leaves Sandpiper to get a break from everything. You definitely feel for Joe in this episode and how he really is that loyal friend everyone goes to with their problems but doesn't get enough pampering or attention himself. Great performance from Tim Daly in this episode.
