Fausta Grables was the only other regular Wonder Woman foe from the comics other than Paula Von Gunther to appear on the show.
The last episode to feature the slow-motion and slow dissolve "spin" of Diana Prince to Wonder Woman. The more iconic and well remembered "spin and explosion" transformation appear in the next episode onwards. The slow dissolve effect was abandoned after the effect proved to be too expensive.
Fausta and the Baroness Von Gunther are the villains from the comic book series that the television series used. Also Gargatua was based on the female villain Giganta. Although Giganta was a giant woman who had been magically converted from a gorilla in the comic books. In the TV show it was just a giant gorilla. And in the comic books the character was a villain; whereas in the TV show the ape turns out to be a good guy who's just being manipulated by the Nazis. These three villains were the only holdovers from the comics; Dr. Psycho, Egg Fu, Villainy Incorporated, Dr. Poison, the Cheetah and even Ares never made appearances in the TV series.
Lynda Day George was married to Christopher George in 1970 until his death in 1983. They often costarred together in television and films.
This episode is the only appearance of Fausta Grables in the entire series.
