• Wonder Woman : [Tina is now stuck and is getting emotional]  You need to stop being so scared.

  Tina : I'm not scared.

  Wonder Woman : Yes you are. You're scared that all of the things you love, that you miss in Ilandia. You're friends, your parents. The people that you love and the people that love you. You're scared that your gonna find all those things right here. You're scared that... when someday comes, you won't know whether you really want to go back. It might hurt a lot when that day comes, but you have to learn to take that chance. And right now you have no choice.

• Tina : I wanna go home. Please, take me home.

  Wonder Woman : [sighs]  I can't.

  Tina : Yes, you can! I know you can. It's where the sun sets across the ocean. I know it is!

  Wonder Woman : Ilandia is in a world within this world.

  [sighs] 

  Wonder Woman : It's in another dimension. Now there is just one doorway... to that world,

  [shakes her head] 

  Wonder Woman : but I don't know where it is.

  Tina : [plaintive]  Will I ever go home?

  Wonder Woman : Aw. Yes, you will, because I'm going to find the man who kidnapped you and make him take you back. Now, as I remember from the books I've read where I come from, only very, very special young people are given bracelets and a necklace like this, right?

  Tina : One in every five thousand. We're supposed to protect people, like the policemen here. That man kidnapped me just when I was learning how to use them.

• Diana Prince : [next to hospital bed]  May I sit down?

  Tina : Sure.

  Diana Prince : My name is Diana, and I'm a friend of Mr. Penrose. What's your name?

  [little girl evades answering] 

  Diana Prince : I know this must all be very confusing to you. This country must be very different from the one you're from. I know the jewelry that you wear... lets you do things that no other boy or girl can do.

  [little girl tries to pull her sleeve over the bracelet to hide it] 

  Diana Prince : and I also know that it cannot be taken off. Did someone try to kidnap you because of that necklace and those bracelets?

  Tina : How did you know?

  Diana Prince : The woman you saw before when those men tried to hurt you...

  Tina : Wonder Woman?

  Diana Prince : She told me about Ilandia. That's where you're from, isn't it?

  Tina : Can Wonder Woman take me back?

  Diana Prince : Maybe. If she can figure out who kidnapped you.

  Tina : He's awful.

  [looks dismayed] 

  Tina : His eyes... they shine. I was afraid...

  Diana Prince : [realizes who culprit is]  Bleaker.

  Tina : I was afraid people would laugh at me if I told them where I'm from. I was scared they wouldn't believe me.

  Diana Prince : I know, I know.
