  Dalek Jast : Wait!

  The Doctor : [in the same room as Cyber Leader, listening in through Rose's mobile phone]  Lost her.

  Dalek Jast : Identify grid Seven Gamma Flame. This male registers as enemy!

  Dalek Sec : The females heartbeat has increased!

  Mickey Smith : Yeah, tell me about it.

  Dalek Sec : Identify him!

  Rose Tyler : All right then... if you really want to know. That's the Doctor.

  [all four Daleks recoil in apparent fear] 

  Rose Tyler : Five million Cybermen, easy. One Doctor? NOW you're scared!

• Rose Tyler : [the Doctor appears in from of Rose in a translucent form]  Where are you?

  The Doctor : Inside the TARDIS. There's one tiny little gap in the universe left, just about to close. And it takes a lot of power to send this projection. I'm in orbit around a supernova.

  [smiling weakly] 

  The Doctor : I'm burning up a sun just to say good bye.

• Rose Tyler : You're the bravest person I know.

  Mickey Smith : What about the Doctor?

  Rose Tyler : Ok, then... the bravest human.

• Rose Tyler : Can't you come through properly?

  The Doctor : Then the whole thing would fracture. The two universes would collapse.

  Rose Tyler : [impatient]  All right! You're gonna kill us anyway, so what the hell.

  [pause] 

  Rose Tyler : If you... survived the Time War, don't you want to know what happened...?

  Dalek Sec : Place your hand...

  Rose Tyler : [interrupting]  ... what happened to the Emperor?

  Dalek Sec : [pause]  The Emperor survived?

  Rose Tyler : [staring into the Dalek's eyestalk]  Well, until he met ME. Because if these are gonna be my last words, then you're gonna listen. I met the Emperor, and I took the Time Vortex and poured it into his head, and turned him into dust. D'you get that? The God of all Daleks, and I destroyed him! HA!

  Dalek Sec : [furious]  You will be EXTERMINATED!

• Mickey Smith : I love it when you talk technical.

  Rose Tyler : Shut up.

• Dalek Jast : [viewing video of Doctor]  This male registers as enemy.

  Dalek Sec : The female's heartbeat has increased.

  Mickey Smith : Yea, tell me about it.

  Dalek Sec : Identify him.
