Ash and friends arrive in a town wrapped up in a series of thefts...
I don't really have a strong opinion on Spinarak or this episode. Team Rocket is still a big part of the episode, but it fits better here than in Flower Power, as being terrible cat burglars is very on-brand for them. James and his coin collection is such a perfect character trait for him. Ash doesn't have much to do here. I like that they all go along with the story of them being great detectives, but there's not really much detective work that goes on here. It's pretty obviously Team Rocket from the get-go. It's a fine episode. If you like Spinarak a lot, this might appeal to you more as they do feature prominently.
