Quotes

  • [Lady Penelope, dressed like Marie-Antoinette, is driving FAB 1 on the water to try get a clear signal to contact International Rescue. A party goer on a boat sees FAB 1 cruising past, and he drops his glass of champagne overboard in surprise]

Party Goer : I've heard of pink elephants, but a pink Rolls-Royce out at sea driven by Marie-Antoinette is ridiculous!

  • [Lady Penelope and Parker are sitting down at a table; Parker is wearing a trenchcoat]

Lady Penelope Creighton-Ward : [suspiciously]  Well, *Lord* Parker? I think you owe me an explanation.

Parker : I thought the guests would be more inclined to take orders from an English lord, as it were. I anticipated you would not mind.

Lady Penelope Creighton-Ward : All right, Parker. In the circumstances, we'll forget it. But tell me, what game so engrossed them that they didn't notice the danger?

Parker : A game very popular in my youth, as I remember - "Bingo".

Lady Penelope Creighton-Ward : [intrigued]  "Bingo"? You'll have to instruct me some time.

    Parker : Very well, m'lady.

Lady Penelope Creighton-Ward : And now, I suggest we try the beach.

[Lady Penelope and Parker stand up]

Lady Penelope Creighton-Ward : Why don't you go and change, *Lord* Parker? The sun is shining.

Parker : I h'anticipated you again, my lady, if you'll pardon the liberty. *Bingo!*

[at that point, Parker opens his trenchcoat to reveal he is already wearing a swimsuit underneath]
