Who would have thought that such a geographically small kingdom would have numerous and entertaining stories along its coast? To the credit of the production team, there is a never-ending well of stories along the UK coast, and I the enthusiasm of the hosts (especially the Scottish one) abounds from the screen.
Now with the UK in a post-Brexit world, it will be interesting to see how the producers deal with this. Will they focus more on the nationalist aspects of the UK's coastal stories? I would like to see more ethnic minorities featured in Coast but with Brexit and all that I maybe feel a bit pessimistic I'm afraid.
