Boring

Who cares if this is a true story? Hothead mob-connected night club owner near Miami goes postal on his enemies, while his lieutenant tries to calm him down.

Well, that's what we'e led to believe anyway. There's more to the story. I won't give it away.

The problem is, in order to get to that "twist", we must endure 80 minutes of lots of girls, sex, bad disco music, girls, dancing, music, bad music, and even worse music. I was wondering when I was going to see some real "mob action"? Other than a couple scary guys showing up in Chris's club making threats...nothing. We are focused on Chris and his new lieutenant spending all this time in the nightclub. Keep in mind that Chris, the hothead nightclub owner, is not really a mobster--he's just a nightclub owner. So expect to be sitting in a nightclub the whole movie, OK? His fresh new lieutenant (a reliable Wahlberg) tries to be the "voice of reason" to Chris, but to no avail. Things finish off with a revelation, a chase (where we finally hear some good music actually!)and a postscript wrap-up of "real events" in this case.

Completely forgettable. 3 points.
