The comments by BushLiedMarinesDied are puzzling as it seems, just by his user ID that he has agenda having nothing to do with the film, Raid on the Reactor.
I watched the movie because I was interested in the military operation of the raid, not the political implications. What BushLiedMarinesDied fails to understand is that this movie was on the Military Channel and not Fox News or some other channel with political motives. It told the story of a fabulously executed military operation. I couldn't care less about any political aspect.
Judging from his comments, I don't think BushLiedMarinesDied even watched the movie. I think he read what the film was about and wrote a review using his anti-Israel bias as his guide. It would be akin to an anti-gay person writing a negative review of Brokeback Mountain because it was about homosexual cowboys.
As someone with a military background, I found Raid on the Reactor to be a thrilling, gripping tale of precise planning and execution. It was suspenseful and even though we knew the outcome, it was very surprising with the accounts of all the dangerous maneuvers the pilots had to execute. The music was perfect as it drove the action expertly. I thought the photography was superb and the editing was perfect for a 21st century audience.
My only complaint was that the film did not address the possibility of Israel conducting a similar raid on Iran, now that the Israelis are facing the same danger. I thought the producers missed a great opportunity to ask the Israelis what they thought of the current situation with Iran. That would have made it relevant to today.
