The Damned Things' debut disc, Ironiclast, may have just hit stores Tuesday, but that doesn't mean they're not already thinking ahead to album number two. Or at least album 1.5.
"We recorded 12 songs for the record, but two of the songs we ended up not finishing, just for time's sake. ... They'll get done because we recorded the drums to tape and tracked all this other stuff, and they'd be a waste to throw away," guitarist Joe Trohman told MTV News. "And they're cool songs, but they need some lyrics and things of that nature that are important. I don't think they'd be good instrumentals. So we need to finish those, and we will, and then there's tons of other material...

Troy Searer and John Foy, formally of 3 Ball, have formed a new company named Tijuana Entertainment and signed an exclusive first-look deal with VH1. The agreement also will include producing other VH1 projects. The first show from Tijuana Entertainment for VH1 is an untitled project that will follow actor Tom Sizemore as he "embarks on a journey that would allow him to reclaim his place in Hollywood"; VH1 has ordered eight half-hour episodes premiering in 2007. Searer and Foy have produced such VH1 series as Breaking Bonaduce and Supergroup. Other credits include NBC's The Biggest Loser and WB Network's Beauty and the Geek.
