We begin by being "treated" to a two-minute concert by Kid Rock, who gives a great example how the culture is going down the toilet. Then we see a young woman outside of the arena discovering a dead limo driver.
Mac gets a call for another emergency and finds Stella unconscious with her boyfriend, who is dead. In this shocking turn of events, the CSI co-star turns victim. Mac tells her to rest and sit this one out, that this time she is not on the job but one of the victims. The rest of the team will help.
Mac goes back to the scene of the crime, to Stella's place, to look for evidence; Flack interviews Stella, and Sheldon works with the medical examiner. Gunpower residue on Stella's hands and ballistics matching up the bullets in the dead both indicate that Stella fired the gun that killed her boyfriend! We find out she had already dumped him and was paying the price!
Meanwhile, Danny and Lyndsay go to work on the limo driver murder case. We get the usual suspects until the real one is discovered.
The Stella situation, if you will, will leave most viewers drained. It's very, very intense.
