- Dark Kat steals super conductive cable from an electrical lab. The SWAT Kats intervene and Razor accidentally blows up a warehouse and injures two workers. Razor feels responsible and leaves T-Bone to fight alone.
- One evening, several hooded figures attack a security guard at Megakat Super Conductors, where they break into a restricted area and steal some superconductor cables. As they are loading the equipment, one of the figures stumbles. Dark Kat, who is watching, berates him, saying the cable is part of his plan to destroy the city. The guard is able to activate an alarm before collapsing. The Enforcers respond, but are unable to stop him. Meanwhile, the SWAT Kats, who have also responded, give chase, pursuing Dark Kat through the city. As soon as they've cleared the city, Razor fires two Octopus Missiles, which miss Dark Kat's spider-like ship but crash into a warehouse, causing it to explode and collapse. T-Bone maneuvers the Turbokat in for another shot, but before Razor can fire anything, they hear a radio transmission about civilian casualties. The distraction is enough for Dark Kat to escape.
Ann Gora arrives on site for Kat's Eye News and reports on an elderly couple being carried away, who say they were out walking when the place collapsed and they were injured. Ann asks Commander Feral if the Enforcers have found the reason for the collapse, and Feral immediately blames the SWAT Kats. He says he'll bring them to justice if it's the last thing he does.
After the SWAT Kats return to the junkyard, Jake watches the news footage, saying he can't believe he hurt the civilians. Chance tries to reassure him, saying it was an accident, but Jake continues to second-guess his actions. Just then, they see a news bulletin about a break-in at Katalytic Laboratories. The break-in is apparently done by the same intruders who robbed the superconductor factory.
The SWAT Kats fly out again, but when they get within range, Razor is too worried about missing his shot that he hesitates. Dark Kat takes advantage of the delay to fire a glue-like substance, clogging up the Turbokat's engines and nearly causing the jet to crash. T-Bone saves the jet at the last minute, but berates Razor for not acting when he did. Back at the hangar, T-Bone clears the gunk out of the engines. Razor heads off in the Cyclotron, saying he needs time to think and be alone, and that if the intruders show up again, T-Bone will handle it better without him. After Razor leaves, T-Bone muses that he doesn't blame Razor for being rattled -- they never hurt anyone before. He then takes another look at a newspaper picture of the warehouse rubble.
Wondering how two missiles that hit the top of the warehouse managed to blow up the bottom, T-Bone goes to the warehouse to investigate. There, he runs into Lieutenant Felina Feral, who shows him remnants of explosive detonators. Felina tells T-Bone that the detonators were placed throughout the ground floor, and T-Bone realizes that the building was rigged to blow.
Meanwhile, Razor visits the civilians at the hospital. He tries to apologize, but they refuse to forgive him, telling him to leave. As he turns to leave, Razor sees a news bulletin of the same spider-like craft they were pursuing, now attacking a power plant. He says he has to help, but the couple tell him to go hurt more innocent bystanders. Razor agrees that he can't risk it, but when the couple mention Dark Kat, Razor realizes that the whole thing is a setup. The couple attack him, but he manages to subdue them, turning them over to the Enforcers before exiting the hospital.
Responding to the attack, T-Bone is unable to radio his partner, but discovers that Dark Kat is the one behind the break-ins. Dark Kat captures the Turbokat, but Razor, attacking from below, frees the jet and climbs aboard. Dark Kat's ship absorbs the city's power before the SWAT Kats can cut it off, but as he heads for Megakat Park, Razor gets an idea. He digs a pit, which stops Dark Kat's ship, then fires a couple of groundhog missiles to channel the water from a nearby lake into the pit. He then fires two drill bit missiles, which drill holes into Dark Kat's ship, shorting out its electrical systems.
Commander Feral and the Enforcers arrest Dark Kat's henchmen, but when Felina and the SWAT Kats go to arrest Dark Kat, they find he has escaped and activated a self-destruct mechanism on the ship. They escape just in time. Felina asks if they think Dark Kat will be back soon. T-Bone says that when he does, they'll be waiting. Razor agrees, saying, "Both of us. Count on it."
