Netflix has released the debut images from the limited series, based on the David Nicholls bestseller, ‘One Day’ alongside the announcement that all 14 episodes will launch globally on 8th February 2024.
The series tells the story of Emma Morley and Dexter Mayhew who, on 15th July 1988, the night of their graduation, speak for the very first time. The next morning, they go their separate ways but where will they be on this one ordinary day the next year, and the year after that, and every year that follows?
Each episode finds Dex and Em, one year older, on this one particular date, as they grow and change, move together and apart, experience joy and heartbreak. ‘One Day’ is a decades-spanning love story, based on the worldwide bestseller by David Nicholls.

It is a Thursday morning and Nick Cave – tanned and beautifully suited – is receiving the press in the upstairs room of a charming gastropub in Brighton's Kemptown. Born in Australia and variously resident over the years in Berlin, London and São Paulo, he has spent the past decade becoming one of the seaside town's most celebrated residents. Rock king Cave, as the local paper persists in referring to him when he makes its pages, seems remarkably visible around the town, perhaps because – nothing if not a proper pop star – he declines to dress down. The present writer once saw him in Diy superstore Homebase, dressed almost exactly as he is now: some years ago, a...

It has been a long time since we heard anything about Nick Cave's "The Death Of Bunny Munro," so we'll bring you back up to speed. First conceived as a script, when Cave couldn't get it produced he turned the story into a novel that is on bookshelves now. But in a little bit of an ironic twist, in 2009 it was reported that Cave's regular collaborator John Hillcoat ("The Road," "The Proposition," "The Wettest County") was going to adapt it for British televison. Then in the summer of 2010 Cave revealed that Ray Winstone was interested in the lead role, and then...nothing since. But the hope is still alive. The Mail Online caught up with Winstone at some posh fashion store opening, and presumably with a few drinks in him, he made an outrageously awesome statement about the brewing project, at least giving us hope it's still very much on Hillcoat and Cave's plate.
