Plot; In an effort to usurp Megatron, Starscream steals the personality components of five imprisoned Decepticons and transfers them into damaged WWII vehicles, forming a team called Combaticons.
Transformers is usually at its best when it focuses on the quarrelsome Decepticons; Particularly Starscream's quest for power. Starscream is that guy we all know who thinks himself a good 2-3 points higher than he actually is on virtually every scale. He had to retake wood shop in Summer school, but if he were in charge of *insert company name here* they'd be making billions.
Less interesting are the heroic Autobots, who one imagines are helping little old cars across the street or volunteering at a food pantry when they're off screen. "Free cheese is the right of all sentient beings.".
