"The Real Ghostbusters" The Ghostbusters in Paris (TV Episode 1987) Poster

Frank Welker: Dr. Raymond Stantz, Lucien, Guard 1

Quotes

  • Lucien : Voila, the true, 'orrible story, my friends. We must accept the evidence: the Eiffel Tower is 'aunted! It is a national catastrphe. Tourists are staying away in droves. France is on its knees. Oh, I beg you, Messieurs, we will pay anything!

  • Peter Venkman : Ray, there are some things more important than TV.

    Ray Stantz : Name two.

Peter Venkman : That's not fair.

  • Lucien : I do not understand, for two days we have gone everywhere but the Eiffel Tower.

Peter Venkman : It's all part of our plan. You can't just bust into an operation like this without doing a little recon first.

  • Egon Spengler : As incredible as it may seem, it would appear that Monsieur Eiffel had already developed the principles of modern ecto-plasmic entrapment by the late 1880s...

Peter Venkman : You mean... the guy was a Ghostbuster?

Egon Spengler : Yes. He built this tower as a primitive, but efficient, type of Ghost Containment Unit. The ghosts are automatically attracted to, and trapped within the tower's very structure.

Ray Stantz : Wow, that's what caused it to absorb our particle beams. I was right! This is fascinating! What a wonderful opportunity!

Peter Venkman : [unenthusiastic]  Yeah... and aren't we all just having a wonderful time...

  • Ray : Criminy! This isn't a museum, it's a chamber of horrors!

    [screams]

  • Lucien : We are doomed... the ghosts will escape, the tower will explode, poof!

Venkman : Calm down, we're on TV.

Stantz : Wait a minute... television! That's it!

Venkman : No way. If I have to sit through one more French commercial...
