- TriviaWhen Larry and The Beaver go to the movies to see "The Mad Hypnotist', the scene is introduced by some stock footage showing children in front of the Village Theatre in Westwood, Los Angeles, California, USA. Very similar footage is used in season 2 in Beaver's Sweater (1959).
- GoofsWard & June discuss whether it was right for Wally to "push" Eddie into the mud-but Wally had nothing to do with it. Wally confronted Eddie about deceiving Beaver, and Eddie ran from him and slipped in mud created by someone's yard sprinkler.
- Quotes
Theodore Cleaver: With a girl?
Wally Cleaver: Yeah she's sort of a girl.
Theodore Cleaver: You know something Wally?
Wally Cleaver: What?
Theodore Cleaver: You're getting to be an awful wiseguy since you started taking baths.

MASTER, I AM YOURS TO COMMAND!
Wacky episode with Eddie Haskell back in action, this time trying to scare Beave out of his shoes. Has to be one of the best "Eddie episodes," one all of us kids used to immitate, especially at recess.
Beaver and Larry head to the movies, naturally to catch a creepy SVENGALI-type flick, and putting some interesting ideas in their heads... Of course, playing the game is Eddie, who pretends to be "Trilby," completely hypnotized by Beaver, ready to do his bidding? It's a joke that goes way too far, and soon Beave thinks he's created a monster!
Watching Eddie walk around as a slave zombie is as good as it gets, that is until he walks smack into Wally --who is ready to bop him one, maybe two! These were also the stories that showed what a real good brother Wally was. We all loved Tony Dow.
I agree with the last reviewer, there's a "den scene" where Beave tries to explain things to Ward, who is also trying to get work done --everything goes haywire.
Of course, Eddie gets what's coming to him. And finally Beave gets to talk it all out with Ward.
Good closing scene with Ward and June. June asks if his dad was a listener. To which he replies, "He used his belt, but he listened!"
Written by popular writer Katherine Albert and her husband David, who wrote 12 episodes for the series. They actually were co-writers of the famous movie, HOW TO MARRY A MILLIONAIRE and the later tv series. They probably were inspired by the classic 1931 John Barrymore horror film, which to this day is a lot of fun to watch.
SEASON 3 EPISODE 24 remastered Universal dvd box set.
