My wife is a professional writer--and a darned good one at that. So, it's not surprising that I'd enjoy "A Painful Glimpse Into My Writing Process" as it reminds me a bit of my wife's occasionally tortured work process--but only a bit crazier! This short film, as the title explains, is only a minute long. The narrator explains his creative process as he writes. It is WILDLY exaggerated--wildly. But there is enough truth to it to make the whole thing rather silly. What's even sillier is that the film is animated--consisting of thousands of cut out pictures that are manipulated to make the film move. It's all very freaky and amazing to watch--and very funny. Well worth seeing--especially for writers.
