The title is based upon the novel A Christmas Carol (1843) by Charles Dickens.
Leo G. Carroll played the ghost of Jacob Marley in the 1938 film version of A Christmas Carol.
Leo G. Carroll portrays both Scrooge and Marley in the dream sequence. Anne Jeffreys portrays the Ghost of Christmas Past, Robert Sterling portrays the Ghost of Christmas Present (dressed as a gift), and the dog Buck portrays the Ghost of Christmas Future.
