When Virgil drives the Laser Cutter out of the Pod, he is enclosed within a perspex screen. When he begins to operate the Laser Cutter he is talking to Scott and it is clear that the perspex screen has disappeared.
Dicetylene Does not exist. The closest thing in real life that even sound like Dicetylene is Diacetylene but using Diacetylene in a fire extinguisher is a very bad idea because Diacetylene is like petrol in other words using it in the elevator shaft rescue, the flame would have flash up the shaft barbecuing everyone involved in the rescue.
The Dicetaline certainly extinguished the flames but when the Dicetaline was finished, the fire immediately reignited. This suggests that Virgil and Alan would have been better to have just used plain water on the fire.
Jeff gives Tin Tin the task of monitoring all radio broadcasts about The Hudson Building and relaying information to the team. This is completely unnecessary as it is essentially what John does all the time. Also, Tin Tin wears bizarre headphones whilst doing this when everyone else seems capable of using radio equipment without the need for headphones.
The Spoke City Tribune is dated Friday, December 24, 2007, yet the Tracys don't seem to have any Christmas decorations up, as they do in a previous episode.
In the episode "30 Minutes After Noon", on the night of the Hudson Building fire, the Auto Date Fixer in Commissioner Garfield's office reads 12/7/05. The next day, it reads 13/7/05, illustrating attention to detail on the part of the set decorator. Unfortunately, the American convention is for the month numeral to appear first: either the first date should read 7/12/05 (12 July) with the next day as 7/13/05, or the second date should read 12/8/05 (8 December).
The Spoke City Tribune shown slightly later is dated Friday, December 24, 2007. Its headline mentions Prescott, but the text is the same Slough Centre Players review used in an earlier episode.

After the fire, police officers Flanagan and Jones are seen reporting directly to Commissioner Garfield suggesting that they are of high rank themselves. Yet when they are first seen, they are in pursuit of Prescott and obviously merely police traffic officers and not of high rank.
