£1.3 million, and the new station is unveiled and opened. All manner of important locals are due to arrive at Sun Hill to enjoy vol-au-vents and finger buffet.
It's a rough day for poor George who manages to insult everyone arriving at The Sation, Ted Roach offers absolutely no help.
It's an episode of two halves, a pretty dull first half it's fair to say, so little actually happens here until the latter stages, it's all very procedural, and only serves really show off the new set, a set that would become incredibly well known to millions of people.
The second half is a darker, more bleak affair, it serves to add substance to the story of The Canley Fields killer.
It is nice to see such a big cast assembled, and all looking smart. It's the first time we see Simon Rouse on the show, he'd become one of the true Bill legends.
7/10.
