Very gritty.
PC's Stamp and Stringer are out and about, and chase a group of black youths the believe have been up to no good, one of them faces off with PC Stamp.
Stop and Search, it was a hideous practice, almost thirty heads on we still have the same horror stories happening.
It's an episode that comes with a warning, and no wonder. It's an episode that's interesting from many different angles, is it unfair on PC Stamp, who had always been a decent chap, did he act well, or was he too heavy handed?
Lots of familiar faces here, including Peter De Jersey, Geoffrey Beavers and Maureen Beattie. Julie Reardon is an interesting character here. Can't say I'm wildly impressed with the character of PC Stringer.
A tough episode, 8/10.
