Sex & Nudity

  • Throughout the film, there are a few sex references, none strong though.
  • A woman kisses a man, licking his face and lips and moans.
  • A man and a married woman kiss a couple of times.
  • A man is shown running while in briefs, and a man in shown walking around in his briefs.
  • A poster of a woman in a skimpy bikini is shown hanging on a bedroom wall.
  • Two men talk about a woman being "hot."
  • A man flirts towards his female therapist who rebuffs him but towards the end. It's hinted that they're dating.
  • Extended sex scene in bathroom. Nothing is shown, but character dialogue, motions, and sounds are very explicit.
  • A man rubs his balls on a drum set and everything is seen up close including his balls. Strong nudity in this scene.
  • Two men are shown peeing in the same toilet at the same time, and you could clearly see their pee coming out. They end up trying to have a "sword fight" with their urine. No nudity.
  • Outside of a few explicit scenes, most of the sexual material here is through verbal references.

Violence & Gore

  • A father smacks his stepson's rear end and tells his biological son that he is next.
  • A man is hit on the head with a golf club but he survives.
  • The adult brothers act frustrating to their parents.
  • Two men prank a couple interested in buying a home by one of them pretending to be dead.
  • A man is dared by a group of children to lick dog feces it's a very gross scene.
  • A man threatens to shove hearing aids up his father's rectum.
  • The two lead characters are beaten by schoolchildren and forced to lick dog feces. They are seen bruised and a little bloodied after it all.
  • An unsympathetic character gets hit in the forehead, falls out of a treehouse, and holds his shoulder while in pain. He is shown with a tiny nosebleed.
  • A poorly constructed bunk bed falls on a man. This man is, for the most part, unscathed, with only a cut on his arm.
  • The two brothers get into a comic scuffle.

Profanity

  • Two uses of "faggot" and one use of "fag".
  • A man calls another man a 'retard'.
  • About 20 f words.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Reference to "smoking a J" and "feeling spacy".
  • A man says he's going out for a drink. It's fair to assume that he means alcohol.
  • A few drug references. No drug use.
  • People drink wine socially in a few scenes. Beer is seen once or twice. No smoking.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • In one comical yet disturbing scene, Brennan and Dale scare away customers as Derek is trying to sell their home. Dale and Brennan dress up as a member of the Ku Klux Klan and a Nazi.
  • One man dresses up in a nazi uniform and another dresses as Ku Klux Klan member. Although it's played for laughs, some viewers may find the scene upsetting or offensive.
  • This movie is about two buffoons who still live at home and don't want to spend time working/refusing to work and need to grow up.
  • For teens/adults.

Spoilers

Sex & Nudity

  • A man is shown using the bathroom and not having any toilet paper so he uses a bath mat and washes his buttocks in the sink.
  • A man says he will touch a drum kit with his genitals.
  • When Dale figures out that Brennan touched his drum set, Brennan rubs his testicals on the drum set
  • Visible nut sack rubbed on drum kit, man and his son-in-law have sex in a bathroom.
  • Suggestive lyrics in a rap song that is played during the "Prestige Worldwide" presentation.

Violence & Gore

  • A man hits another man on the head with a cymbal. Believing that he's killed him, he prepares to bury him in the garden. However, the other man regains consciousness and hits the other man over the face with a spade. He then buries him alive but the buried man survives and forces himself back up through the dirt. Although this sounds dark, the whole scene is purely comedy.
  • The two lead characters get their revenge on the schoolchildren by fighting them, but no blood is shown.
