- some, not much. although this movie is undoubtedly a horror movie, there is little gore and violence. the suicide theme is quite unsettling though.
- a mother abuses her daughter, forcing her to eat dog food. when she finds out that her daughter has been eating other food, she beats and slaps her. the daughter cries. this scene is quite unsettling.
- a mother drinks from a water bottle. when it is empty, she chews the plastic, making her mouth quite bloody. blood is obviously fake.
- a daughter stabs her abusive mother in the chest with a kitchen knife and dumps the body in the bathroom.
- the ending is quite scary. not too gory but quite violent and scary

- quite a few characters smoke frequently throughout the movie.
Frightening & Intense Scenes

- there are quite a few jump scenes in the movie
- a young girl gets pushed off a very high balcony. we do not see who pushes her. she screams a lot as she falls into a pool. she hits her head on the way down. no blood or gore.
- a girl answers her phone thinking it is the ghost of her sister. she hangs up, turns around and there is an ashen figure very close to her with it's mouth unnaturally wide. this is a jump scene and is quite frightening.
- a teenage girl opens a cupboard. we do not see what was inside it but in a few moments, she comes out into the kitchen and starts eating the dog's food. she growls and jumps off the balcony, landing on concrete. no gore is shown except for a small stream of blood coming from her mouth.
- a teenage daughter gets her ears pierced. later, her mother sits on top of her and rips her ears to get the rings out. quite disturbing. not bloody, just disturbing and sad. the daughter cries and screams. the mother then tries to put a plastic bag over her head.
- a girl is very depressed and jumps from a balcony after receiving an eviction notice.
- the ending is quite scary

- a girl walks along the beach and finds an earring. she reaches down to get it and hands grab her from the ring turns out this is just a dream
- a group of teenagers are playing a party game when the power goes out. smoke fills the room and black ropes swing around and wrap around the teenagers they turn around and the strings are coming from the window. a woman like the lady from the grudge crawls and croaks. the ropes are bits of her hair. she rushes at three girls and pushes them over the balcony
Frightening & Intense Scenes
- there are numerous apparitions of dead people, particularly sakaya . these are not scary. just occasional figures in the background or foot on the edge or the shot.
- the ghost of sakaya, the girl who jumped off the balcony early in the movie staggers into her own funeral giggling and says " Mom pushed me" she giggles a bit more then fades.
- a mother is an alcoholic and she abuses her daughter, forcing her to eat dog food and slapping and beating her
