- Dakota is a young werewolf who uses medication injections to forestall her monthly transformations at full moon. Through this mechanism, she attempts to break free from the pack of four other lycanthropes with whom she lives and make a new life for herself. Michael, the leader of the pack, is determined to bring her back into the fold. Because she is working at a veterinarian's office, her scent is detectable on dogs she works on. Pack-member James, who is sweet on her, tracks her down, hoping to win her back. Dakota flees into a bar where she seeks aid from Dan as she hides in the men's restroom. Her courage and fighting ability appeal to Logan, the nightclub's owner who agrees to team up to stop the werewolves. Michael and his gang capture Dan and hold him hostage as bait to bring Dakota back to their remote hideout in the woods. Logan sends his team in to plan a way to rescue Dan from the pack. Although they are just scouting out the situation, they are discovered. A battle ensues that is fierce. Members on both sides of the fight fall. Logan's main fighter, Stick, detonates a bomb that his is holding his hand, an act of self-sacrifice to take out the pack and win freedom for Dakota and Dan. Afterwards, Logan has had his fill of all the hassles of the running the club and declares himself retired. Dan and Dakota take over for him.—Garon Smith
