Mr Peters and the Braithwaite's are on a coach outing to the seaside. For Mr Peters is means a lot of drinking in pubs, but shock, horror. John and Sue will be left on their own in the farm!
Worzel Gummidge is looking forward to the seasaw. Only he does not have a ticket to ride. So he stows away on the coach and eats all the food.
Once they arrive at the seaside. Worzel comes across ship's figurehead Saucy Nancy (Barbara Windsor) who takes an instant shine to Worzel. Even though he is surprised she can talk English to him.
Only snooty Aunt Sally is about as well. In the fairground and she looks worse for wear. Mrs Braithwaite spots her and thinks she has been stolen.
Saucy Nancy wants to marry Worzel, especially after she shows him her legs. However Worzel sees some familiar legs, that of Aunt Sally, the woman he really wants to marry.
Now Worzel finds himself in a romantic triangle. One where Aunt Sally is still playing hard to get.
Barbara Windsor is a breath of fresh breeze as Saucy Nancy. Even if Worzel thinks she stinks of fish.
