Surprised at the Name Calling and I Don't Like the Show Either

First of all I'm surprised at the name calling on both sides but I guess that can be expected when a show is going for an audience of teens and even younger. It's just not appropriate though to call each other names when they just happen to disagree with you, everyone is allowed to have their own opinion whether they like this show or hate it.

I am not the audience for this show because I am older than the teens they are trying to do the show for, but I have watched many episodes and I do not like the show and find all the hosts/crew people on camera to be very annoying.

Then again I don't like most things I see on MTV or Much Music.

This show is terrible, the user ratings average of about 2.1 out of 10 seems fair to me. I know the MTV Live superfans who are probably 12 year old kids who have a big crush on the old people who host this show are going to bash me now like they bashed the other people who made reviews here but that's okay they are obviously the minority because plenty of people have voted this show down. The main problem with this show is the terrible hosting and writing, the jokes are terrible and they never have anything interesting to say. I can't believe these people and this show are on the air and I don't know anyone who actually watches it. Probably just like Mike Bullard it's on TV just because it's cheap Canadian content and they don't care if it's good or not. MTV Live sucks!

Fake Reviewers Deleted. This Show Is Not Good (For Viewers Like Me)

I see now that there are no positive reviews at all for this show any more but that is not surprising considering all those reviews were clearly fake and put here by people who are on or who work on the show or maybe just friends, family, or fans of them or the show MTV Live. They could have at least tried to make it not so obvious.

This show is not the worst show ever like some of you say but it's not a good show. Still as another reviewer says it is obviously not a show for me or people like me, it skews much younger and so the hosts seem very vapid and annoying and the subject matter just seems stupid to us but tweens etc may have actually liked the show since it speaks more to them. Still I can only rate it as myself so I give it a 2, it just does not hold anything of value for me plus as I said the personalities on it just seem annoying and not very knowledgeable about anything.

This Show Sucks & The Hosts Suck

The hosts are terrible not to mention way, way, way too old to be hosting a show like this targeted at teenagers. They keep doing skits that are just plain not funny. And all of them seem like they are so full of themselves, and apparently they no little to nothing about all of their guests and especially about music overall. I see no educational, entertainment, or any other kind of value in this show at all and I can't believe it is still on the air. This is exactly the kind of show that I think makes it okay for parents to ban their children from watching certain TV shows, since apparently some kids are so brain dead or whatever they don't realize for themselves that they shouldn't be watching mindless, pointless trash like this. This and that show they air after The Hills just to discuss The Hills, are proof that our society is in decline.

The truth about couldcause

Couldcause obviously either works for the show, or is related to or knows somebody who works for the show. Otherwise why would he/she/it lash out so venomously at the only other poster, Jenna S, simply because she doesn't like the show at all? Anyway I hate MTV Live too, and so does almost everybody I know, and judging by the ratings this show has pretty much everybody else who has ever seen it hates this show. That leaves couldcause and his/her/its friends pretty alone in the pro-MTV Live camp.

This show sucks, it really truly does. Sory, couldcause, but the cause you're fighting is a losing one. The show costs nothing to make and the hosts I doubt have people pounding down their doors to do other work so I think it's a safe bet it will stay on the air for years, MTV ratings are so low this is probably one of their best performing shows given it costs about $10 an episode to make and is therefore very cheap Canadian content, but that doesn't mean this show is good, or should be on.

And am I the only one who is alarmed that this MTV show is hosted by people who appear to be like 40 years old? Wouldn't you say that is a mistake? Say what you want about Much Music but at least they use hosts and VJs who are much closer to the age of their viewers.

Anyway, take a chill pill, couldcause :)

Terrible

I get the feeling the positive reviews here are by people who either work for the show or have friends/family who work for the show, otherwise I have no idea why they are being so violent in defending it. It's not the worst show ever but to be honest it is a very, very bad show. I guess some kids might like it so this show's not for me, but I've sat through it several times and it's completely pointless and I find the hosts vapid, uninteresting and not very bright. Also I wonder why a show for tweens etc would be hosted by 30/40ish year olds. The skits they do are always terribly unfunny. I find the ratings here (currently 2 out of 10) is about right, I give it a 1 because I really think this show is awful myself but I'm sure this show's target audience likes it okay. Luckily I can just turn the channel and not have to watch it!

I love watching the reality challenge shows such as Special Forces..Why don't you have challenges with Adults 55+? There are millions of older Adults that are more physically fit than the young adults, actors and singers you chose..stereotyping will cost you ratings..take the challenge and let older Adults compete in your Special Forces challenge..I guarantee you that I and others my age can beat most ypu recruited..Geographic targeting really sucks and shows discrimination!!

I've talked to many in my age bracket who are athletic and physically fit and all agree the show is all about show..W 55+ challenge you!!

Pretty Bad Show - Dan Levy Is So Annoying

MTV Live was a pretty bad show. The girls were OK but the one guy was annoying and trying too hard to be likable and funny. And Dan Levy was the most annoying person I've ever seen on TV, totally full of himself and smarmy and everything he said was whiny and stupid. Hated him and never liked this show much.
