I was fortunate enough to catch this short at the Sidewalk Film Festival last weekend. It screened around midnight, and I almost decided to go home instead of attending, but I'm really glad I stuck it out. For fans of old school horror, this one doesn't disappoint. From what the director said during the question and answer session, they even used a special kind of old film so it even looks like it was rented from a video store in the eighties. The story was great, the pacing was fast, and the acting, for the most part, was very strong. My only complaint is that I wish it had been longer. It would make a great feature. Plenty of action, gore, and even a bit of comedy- this is my new favorite short.
