The film was shot in an unconventional way whereas instead of a detailed script, there was only an outline of each scene and where the story was going. Actors would then improvise much of the dialogue based on director Nick Broomfield's instructions.

Extremely convincing

I found this a very well made and realistic movie. It is very believable that these young guys who are send to Iraq by their 'criminal' leaders , to put up and save an overwhelming US power and presence in the Middele east are made absolutely crazy by the things that happen in their young lives.The greatest 'power' on earth is sending children of 19,20 years of age to fight their horrible capitalistic ordeal. Some youngsters are there for their 3e time while not being over 20.

The loss of civilian live ... the horrible murder-es rampage of the 'land of the free' through this small Arabic nation.... well it all adds to the fact that a lot of folks rather see the US going than Coming.

as a movie...seldom have a seen a more disturbingly and convincingly acted , filmed and told war-crime story.

excellently made.AND an extremely important movie.

A shame though that the real guilty ones...the cowardly guilty ones , stay out of the line of fire.
