Lacks laughs, but great character play.

Sarah gets flu and needs time off work to stay in bed. Her suffering is worsened by Eleanor and Clare, each making out that they are ill with worse symptoms then her. Neither allow Sarah a moment's piece, with both making endless demands on her, even forcing her to go back to work early.

As a comedy it doesn't succeed as it doesn't contain many laughs, as a character study it's rather brilliant, you can't help but watch and feel utterly sympathetic for Sarah, whilst feeling utter contempt for Eleanor and Claire, both of whom behave badly. It's nice to see Sarah finally snap with Claire. Eleanor's visit to The Doctor is perhaps the funniest moment.

A good observation about that hierarchy of illness in a family, there is definitely a pecking order, some people just get on with it, others just succumb.

Lacks laughs, but in terms of getting you on Sarah's side it's a success.

7/10.
