This was great---what a clever little French film
CLIK CLAK begins with a series of objects falling domino-fashion. Then you see that these objects were arranged and the racket was actually made by two adorable little robots. It seems that these guys actually have a language that is made up of sound effects strung together to make bizarre sentences! Then, when a little boy enters the picture, he is coached on the language by the robots until he understands (goodness, HOW he understands all this nonsense is beyond me).
This was truly one of the strangest short film I have ever seen--and there really is nothing to which to compare it. Because of this as well as the wonderful characters and amazing CG that I urge you to see it--even if the story itself is very, very confusing and just plain weird! Trust me on this one--just watch the action and don't try to think it through too much--just absorb it and be amazed.
