The rain sequence of the final duel was filmed on a cold night in November with temperatures nearing freezing and high wind gusts flooding through the location. Director/Actor David McLeavy suffered from early stages of hypothermia.
Despite their exotic look, all exteriors were indeed filmed in central New Jersey.
While the film only had approximately 20 shooting days, they were spread over the course of over two years. In several scenes, shots of one actor are taken a year apart from the other.
