On a small island off the coast of Nova Scotia, a mysterious "money" pit has kept treasure hunters digging for 200 years. Designed by an unknown engineer, the pit is a complex hole with timber crosspieces every ten feet deep. At the 100 foot level was found a stone with a cryptic inscription: "Forty feet below two million pounds are buried." But, when diggers go below 100 feet, the cold waters of the Atlantic Ocean rush in to fill the pit. Despite the cost of money and lives over the years without the return of a single coin, adventurers keep trying to solve the riddle of getting through the water to reach the two million pounds.
