The covered, dead bodies in the refugee camp scene were made up of extras not needed in the scene, several crew members and even producer C.K. Lichenstein II.
Principal photography was shot during the Summer and Fall of 2005. The black and white, interviews were shot in the Summer of 2006 to give the movie more of a documentary feel.
In several scenes outside of Basti's house, the French Van from Monday Night Gig (2005) (also produced by C.K. Lichenstein II) can be seen.
Won the Northwest Emerging Artists Award from the 2007 Salem Film Festival. It was only the second festival screening of the film.
Won an Honorable Mention for Best Feature Film from the 2008 Interrobang Film Festival.
