All right. I've just mainlined a season's worth The Good Wife into my brain, and now that I'm caught up (albeit shakily), I can honestly say that I... enjoyed, appreciated, and only slightly questioned last night's fourth season premiere. I still love the regal eyebrows of one Ms. Alicia Florrick, the fearsome pucker and smarts of Ms. Diane Lockhart, the wicked (but worsening?) world of Kalinda Sharma, and nearly everything else, really. But here's what stood out to me most about last night's premiere.
1. The eerieness of that highway confrontation
As Alicia, Zack, and Grace drove back from a college visit, Zack was pulled over by a straightforward, but insistently intrusive cop. Zack wasn't speeding, but the hard-struttin' Officer Robb argued that he braked oddly (oh, of course!) in a zone that served as a "major conduit" for weapons and drugs.
