Really great start!

Definitely one of the best episodes in series. Well written. The emergencies were diverse. 1st with the fast car and 3rd with crazy woman definitely were intense. Poor Buck I hope he gets better this season! I hope they quality will expend throughout the season because this episode was a right step in right direction! And of course that crazy cliffhanger that will play out in next few episodes!

...who had a Miami Vice flashback? Oh that Daytona. I really love this show which I just discovered. Love the cast and pretty good stories. Did I reach my 150 characters yet?

I had about given up on this show because of p/c leftness of too many of the episodes..but tonight; This episode was Excellent throughout. Several good stories which did not try to do anything except tell stories of the people involved. Thank you, Producers.

"Kids Today"

Some spectacular visuals and set piece action sequences open the third season of 9-1-1, and I am ashamed to say that I am way late to the party on this show - and even later to it's Lone Star cousin. However, I am fully on-board now and invested in the characters big-time, so it was a relief after the finale to end the second season that everyone is basically okay. Even Buck, who took a few hits (literally and figuratively!) in the last episode of season two appears to be on the mend at the outset of things, and the squad are pretty happy. The drama of the characters' lives and the drama of the emergencies was well balanced. Sometimes it isn't, but it was here. The scenarios are getting more inventive but none scream - to me, anyway - implausibility.

And then there was the cliff-hanger. Wow...

Stupid start, great finish

The episode starts horribly with an idiot premise that could be solved in 2 seconds yet is ignored and made worse by explaining the situation away in an impossible way. Almost shut off the show. However the rest of the show goes well in it's usual cheese but not too much, fun way. Ends on a great cliffhanger and overall made the episode worth watching.

Idiotic opening scene

Turn off the runaway car with the key! Not one person thought of this? I have absolutely no idea how I watched this episode to the end after that. There's classy dialogue like "flesh-eating STD". This show's usually pretty outrageous but this episode is worse than normal.
