excellent feature
blanche-210 May 2007
This feature appears on the "Son of Fury" disc, which was released as a single film and also as part of "The Tyrone Power Collection" on May 1, 2007.

The two main people interviewed are Oscar nominee James Cromwell, whose father, Richard Cromwell, directed the film and whose mother, Kay Johnson, plays a role in it; and film historian Maria Ciaccia. Both comment on Tyrone Power and scenes within the film both on camera and in voice-over.

Striking about this feature - in fact, all of the features on "The Tyrone Power Collection" are the production values, the photographs used, and the general aura. Written by Bryan Cooper, this and the "Leading Ladies" and "Family Reunion" segments are well above average. Twentieth Century Fox went all out on this collection, which Power, their major star for so many years, definitely deserves.
