Best episode so far.

With a political void in the North, a right wing extremist seizes control of the area. Anna faces up to her current predicament, and Robert has to answer difficult questions in Parliament about Georgia Nixon.

It's turning out to be a very bold, really interesting drama, The Cobra premise works well, but it's the combination of threads that's making it an interesting watch, it's the mix of national disaster, personal and political problems that make it work.

It's what's filling the vacuum in The North that's providing the bulk of the interest, and the chilling thing is, that it could possibly happen.

People's Justice and its leader, I think we all know who that's supposed to be, and their characterisation of its leader Scott Minett.....not hard to work out who that is.

The production quality is excellent, the motorway scenes looked terrific, a lot of time, effort and budget clearly went into this.

Charlie Carrick, David Haig and Lisa Palfrey all stood out.

Possibly the most accomplished episode so far.

8/10.

I started this when it first came out; I had just marked number one so I thought I wasn't interested but I couldn't sleep last night so I thought I would give it a try again. Come to find out, I had watched the first three and here's where I ended back in 2020. So started this one today, where 500k+ Californias are now without power, etc., from a natural disaster. I'm sure they're handling it better than the Brits in this scenario. In fact that's what I kept wondering through the whole show- what was going on in the rest of the world? We in the US have suffered through winter outages and hurricane shortages, etc., etc., and things never looked this bleak! If it were true to life is it because of the Brit's socialism?

Robert Carlisle is such a good actor and the rest of the cast is quite up to his standard as well. The writing is above average but not one of the best coming out of SKY. Certainly not up to "West Wing's" first six but I'm glad I've waited because now I have more to view and to see the side of the British government in action. I think it's probably very true to life because we have to remember their social and 'class' structure differences than ours but the similarities are rather interesting if not humorous. Politicians be politicians ;-)
