Newly paired couple Sara & Pasha West Coast Swings to Fatboy Slim's "Rockafeller Skank" choreographed by Benji Schwimmer, and where Nigel Lythgoe proclaims, "That's magic". Sabra & Dominic hip-hops to Ne-Yo's "Make It Work" choreographed by Shane Sparks, whose ability to tell a story made guest judge Adam Shankman declare that "Hip-hop just had a nice breakthrough tonight". Jamie & Hok waltz to Sarah McLachlan's "Angel" choreographed by Toni Redpath about a dying man's final moment with his lover. Posing as angel and devil, Lauren & Neil jazz dance to Róisín Murphy's "Night of the Dancing Flame" choreographed by Wade Robson.
